Denys brings demonstrated success as an executive and working with executive leaders, navigating change to achieve innovation and growth with diverse organizations, technologies and verticals, including energy and sustainability, cybersecurity and IoT, healthcare and biotechnology, and telecommunications.
Previously, Denys was engaged as the first COO of a trade association to drive operational efficiency, update processes, and institute metrics-driven performance in an organization transitioning to serve the quickly evolving Mobility HR sector.
As Chief Growth Officer at NineSigma, Denys contributed to the turnaround and successful VC exit of this start-up innovation consultancy by launching the fastest growing, most profitable business units which included winning the largest engagements in the company’s history and penetrating new markets with Fortune 500 companies, federal and state governments, and non-profit organizations. Tapping into innovative scientific crowdsourcing communities, she partnered with clients to address critical issues related to the circular economy, traumatic brain injury, opioid addiction, and carbon capture. Denys is recognized as a thought leader, speaker and author in crowdsourcing and innovation best practices.
Denys honed her agility to move fearlessly across industry sectors over a decade as an executive and a consultant, focusing on global business development. She worked with manufacturers in highly diverse industries which included cosmetic packaging, industrial roof coatings, professional restaurant equipment and thermal management computer components.
Denys earned an MBA in International Business and Finance from New York University, and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Plastic Recyclers. Denys lives in the Washington DC metro area, and spends as much time possible traveling, skiing, biking and hiking.
