Ms. Alfonso is a certified instructor of the Manage to Lead Immersion Program, a game changing experience that helps leaders and their teams gain practical, implementable insights and initiatives that consistently improve performance and impact/growth.
For THRUUE, Inc., Ms. Alfonso partnered with C-Suite leaders to set strategy and shift culture to drive growth. She introduced change story and transformational roadmap frameworks to facilitate going beyond strategy formulation to making strategy work. She also applied her signature behavior shift methodology to extend and scale delivery across clients. She also led maturation of People Function to advance THRUUE’s high performance culture.
For ASI Government, Ms. Alfonso helped government leaders improve program outcomes by transforming acquisition organizations, systems, and processes. She led delivery of the first ever federal re-insurance program in six short months, saving $1B in hurricane relief claims. She helped launch and lead the federal Acquisition of the Future (AOF) initiative to re-imagine the future of federal acquisition through facilitated sessions with established and visionary federal and industry leaders. She co-led the effort to draft the AOF Transformation Guide which program leaders now use to achieve outcomes through better acquisition.
At Touchstone Consulting Ms. Alfonso supported government leaders in Civilian agencies to implement transformational change. Ms. Alfonso designed and launched Touchstone’s first Knowledge Management and Methods function and developed the firm’s services architecture, aligning offerings with business strategy. Ms. Alfonso also established communities of practice to define, model, coach, and teach the brand-critical competencies that catalyzed the firm’s rapid growth.
For more than a decade, Ms. Alfonso led large-scale IT and change initiatives for a major technology products and services provider in the financial services and telecommunications industries. Ms. Alfonso also served as Vice President of a regional financial institution where she launched a Corporate University and created programs to implement high-impact people change and strategic planning processes closely aligned with the organization’s desired shift in culture.
Recently, Ms. Alfonso served as Vice-Chair of the Board for the NTL Institute of Applied Behavioral Science. She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from Mount Holyoke College. Ms. Alfonso also earned postgraduate certificates from Georgetown University in both Organization Development/Change Management and in Team Building.
