Peggy Alfonso has over 30 years of experience helping leaders and their teams in telecommunications, financial services and the federal government imagine, shape, and implement their most critical large-scale organization, systems, and process change initiatives.
She is a strategy and change consultant and knowledge management executive who partners with leaders to build aligned teams committed to deploying their individual strengths to achieve a common goal on time, on budget, and on target.

For ASI Government, Ms. Alfonso helps government leaders improve program outcomes by transforming acquisition organizations, systems, and processes. She helped launch and lead the federal Acquisition of the Future (AOF) initiative to re-imagine the future of federal acquisition through facilitated sessions with established and visionary federal and industry leaders. She co-led the effort to draft the AOF Transformation Guide which program leaders now use to achieve better outcomes through better acquisition.
At Touchstone Consulting Ms. Alfonso’s team supported government leaders in Civilian agencies implementing transformational change. Ms. Alfonso designed and launched Touchstone’s first Knowledge Management and Methods function and developed the firm’s services architecture, aligning offerings with business strategy. Ms. Alfonso also established communities of practice to define, model, coach, and teach the brand-critical competencies that catalyzed the firm’s rapid growth.
For more than a decade, Ms. Alfonso led large-scale IT and change initiatives for a major technology products and services provider in the financial services and telecommunications industries. Ms. Alfonso also served as Vice President of a regional financial institution where she launched a Corporate University and created programs to implement high-impact people change and strategic planning processes closely aligned with the organization’s desired shift in culture.
Recently, Ms. Alfonso served as Vice-Chair of the Board for the NTL Institute of Applied Behavioral Science. She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA from Mount Holyoke College. Ms. Alfonso also earned postgraduate certificates from Georgetown University in both Organization Development/Change Management and in Team Building.
