Having served as a member of the Executive team at Soundbay LLC (Australia) and Silverchair Science + Communication, she understands the inherent complexities of organizations and how to get people clear and aligned to effectively change and sustain growth. Susan has deep expertise in HR, OD, instructional design, L&D, talent development and change management. She has worked in various industries including software development, retail / omnichannel, and throughout the financial services sector.
Susan is a values-based leader who has a passion for helping people work effectively and believes that with grit and gratitude just about anything is possible.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in organization development from American University. She also played a key role in organizing and piloting delivery of content that became The Manage to Lead textbook and Immersion Program.
Susan’s community involvement mirrors her interests in life, helping to ignite, inspire, and empower people and organizations to thrive. She has served on the board of The READ Center and the University of Richmond Q-Camp Advisory Committee and as a Director for the Center for Non-Profit Excellence in Charlottesville, VA.
In Susan’s free time she enjoys playing disc golf, traveling, reading, entertaining her friends and family, and relaxing with her dogs Vida and Hugo.
