Lecture: How Top Leaders Reach Good Decisions by not Making Them.

Management19:15

The purpose of a business is to solve a problem for a customer. Which means every organization needs to know: Whose problem do we solve?  If top executives have even slightly different answers, leaders may each use their great strengths to drive the organization forward but in slightly different ways which creates confusion, tension, and less than optimal performance. There are three ways to achieve complete alignment:

  • Assume it.
  • Assert it.
  • Facilitate it.
In this video, PeterD presents a way for leaders to work together to achieve an aligned view of any and all important matters in a session for prospective applicants to Golden Gate University in San Francisco, which is ranked number one in adult education in the United States.
