PREVIOUS ILC SESSION'S FEATURED GUEST SPEAKER
University of Massachusetts Amherst
"Our Manage to Lead participation was an out-of-the-box experience for a number of us on the campus leadership team. We developed an initiative around Corporate Engagement in the early part of the course which led to a new approach that we are now implementing for the campus. Besides a lot of insights into how to focus on a strategic initiative, the MtL approach forced key leaders to work together across organizational units on a problem of real significance to the University. It was critical to us that our problem was the MtL course, unlike other trainings that focus on high-level principles and practices but leave it to the participants to implement on their own problems (which often does not happen). The practice of feedback from peers in the course and ultimately from the Executive Session was invaluable."
