Jame Cofran has 30+ years of experience helping companies achieve their potential to perform and grow. He works with leadership teams to advance and deploy sales skills to develop their system of selling to drive scale.
Jame currently serves as Board Member, President and Chief Operating Officer for THRUUE a long-time IntelliVen client that provides strategy and culture assessment and development services to the nation’s larges associations as well as banks and other large organizations. Jame also serves on the accountability board of two other IntelliVen clients: FI Consulting and Wheelhouse.
Previously, Jame was the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP for Global Business Development at CGI, a global management and IT services firm headquartered in Montreal, Canada. In that role from 2012 to 2016, he helped CGI grow from $4B in annual revenues, primarily from North America, to $11B in annual revenues from more than 40 countries around the world.
In 2010, Jame was heading the global Financial Services Industry Marketing group for CGI when he was selected to lead the pursuit team for a large outsourcing opportunity at a major US financial services organization. CGI had no active relationship with the organization but was invited to bid. His team proceeded to win $100M in initial work and another $60M of work 9 months later. The organization continues to be an anchor client for CGI.
Jame’s previous roles include founder and CEO of InsideOut Technologies, a SaaS company enabling faster, more efficient online lending. As CEO, he led all aspects of the business from strategy and marketing through delivery, growing the company to 15 clients and $3M in annual revenues before integrating the company with American Management Systems (AMS) in 2002. Prior to and after that he held various management and consulting roles at AMS.
In a career that has mainly focused on business development and management, Jame has learned and developed core competencies in market analysis and segmentation, strategy development, client development, innovation and leadership. He has a track record of inventing new approaches to improve business performance and holds two patents for business process automation solutions. Throughout his career, Jame has enjoyed building teams with a strong sense of purpose that are able to consistently achieve high levels of performance.
Jame enjoys the outdoors and is an avid boater and backpacker. He coaches a senior women’s basketball team at regional and national competitions and divides his time between Arlington, VA and his farm in southern Maryland.
