Scott Keough

Scott Keough is a senior operating executive with 30+ years of B2B SaaS experience serving the US Federal/Civilian, state and local government and education markets, including Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, and Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Scott’s expertise spans strategic business planning, sales, business development, client service delivery, product management, marketing and partner management in IT infrastructure, business intelligence, cloud computing and commercial software businesses.

He is highly entrepreneurial with a track record of innovating and building start-up organizationss through to driving growth in midsized technology companies.

Scott currently serves as a Board Director of Contraqer Corporation, a cloud based, B2B procurement software company that provides transparency and clarity in procurement for companies serving US Federal, Civilian, DOD & SLED government contractors, including VARs, Integrators, and OEMs.

Scott most recently served as Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Contraqer where he helped bootstrap and launch a B2B procurement management SaaS company. Scott led sales and marketing, and managed operations.

Previously, Scott was a Senior Associate with Booz Allen & Hamilton where he led a 20-person private cloud service delivery team, delivery strategy and roadmap for IaaS, VDI and PaaS with ITIL and leading technology platforms (BMC/Remedy, HP, and VMWare) to achieve operational efficiencies. Scott was a key leader in growing new IT infrastructure business; building and leading team of IT infrastructure SMEs for FDCA and PMO; team functional expertise included DR/COOP, NOC/SOC, network design and security.

For GTSI Corporation, now UNICOM Government Inc, (a division of UNICOM Global), Scott served as Director of Enterprise Solutions Management, where he led a team that designed and built comprehensive capabilities playbooks for efficient selling, including customer drivers, benefits, and differentiators; OEM partner platforms and technical certifications; targeted customer accounts, project sizes and profitability goals; sales tools, training content, service delivery templates and sample delivery documents.

As Director for GTSI’s Microsoft Business Scott led and managed $50M+ Microsoft products and services business and led the reversal of declining Microsoft new billed revenue through innovative channel pilot and GTSI initiatives. Scott also served as an Enterprise Software Business Development Executive where he was responsible for software sales to Federal and Civilian government clients

Prior to joining GTSI, Scott served in several Senior Manager roles with MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: MSTR), a $500M business intelligence, mobile software company.  Scott’s roles spanned leading Strategic Alliances, Partner Marketing, and Product Management.

Earlier in his career, Scott served as Director of Business Development & Product Management with Potomac Interactive Corporation, where he helped bootstrap an early-stage SaaS business.

Scott earned his MBA from  Georgetown University & Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
