Xiulin (Sally) Luo

Xiulin (Sally) Luo is a Quantitative Finance major at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is part of the Morningside College where she serves as the co-director of the news department in the Medical Committee. Sally is an active participant in multiple interscholastic academic competitions and programs. She was a semi-finalist in the PwC 2023 ESG Challenge with her team, and also participated in the Oliver Wyman 2023 Impact Case Competition and HKGCC Pitch Perfect Programme 2023.

Sally has a keen interest in business operations and finance. She has interned at various organizations in the past few years, such as IntelliVen, OmniTek Consulting, Asian Women in Aerospace and Aviation, and Special Olympics. She is looking forward to interning at IntelliVen again this summer.

At IntelliVen, Sally assisted with the promotion of the Manage to Lead workshop to CEO groups globally. She scripted and produced the “Manage to Lead: What-Who-Why Workshop” promotion video. Additionally, she prepared, edited, and formatted presentations for prospect and clients.

At OmniTek Consulting, Sally worked on enhancing the online presence of new startups. She analyzed the social media contents of competitors and assisted with revamping website, Instagram account, and LinkedIn page. She also developed ideas and recommendations to contribute to the new virtual recruitment process during the pandemic. Her research topic was “Covid-19 and Market Landscape: Reestablishing Community in Workforce”.

Sally currently lives in Hong Kong, although she grew up in Seattle and completed high school in Northern Virginia. She enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and painting.
