Founding member of the George Mason Executive and Professional Education Chief Risk Officer Advisory Council

IntelliVen Senior Principal, David Halwig, has been selected to join the newly formed Mason Executive and Professional Education Chief Risk Officer Advisory Council as a founding member based on his outstanding contributions in the risk sector.

The purpose of the Council is to create and deploy an educational road map to invigorate and formalize the career paths for employees to assume the challenging role of a CRO.

Initial areas of focus include:

  • Identification, exploration and expansion of innovative program ideas including the development of a new ERM program designed by Mason to be immediately relevant in the private sector marketplace.
  • Serve as a sounding board for the development of cost-effective training and professional development for current and aspiring CROs.
  • Offer ideas and expertise with a focus of engaging a diverse generational population of committed employees as they retire from, or assume the ranks of a CRO.
